Giving Streams

 God uses many streams of giving to sustain the work of the Baptist center. The main way is financial support – gifts of money that directly provide food, clothing, ministry programs, and the daily needs of those we serve. Every dollar becomes a tool for Hope.

 Our community suffers from food insecurity. Every person who comes to The Baptist Center can count on us giving them the provisions God has sent for us to distribute. Find out about how to sponsor one of our many ways to distribute food.

Very often, the families we serve lack basic household supplies. We don’t have much storage space in our building, but try to keep a shelf in our pantry stocked with items like personal hygiene, cleaning supplies and laundry soap. 

We also have an ongoing need here in the center for cleaning supplies, office supplies, etc.

Everyone who attends classes at the Baptist center gets a gift for Christmas. Many of our church friends enjoy shopping and providing these gifts. It has become a beloved custom every year, endeared not only by the children, but by those who are delighted to shop and give in this way. We also try to send extra provisions to homes during the Holidays, as many don’t get the joys of the season that we so often take for granted.  We visit families this time of year and take the story of the birth of Jesus to their living rooms, a longstanding tradition held by The Baptist Center directors.
